About Us
We are a smaller kennel which really allows us to offer a quieter, calmer and more intimate atmosphere for your beloved doggie. We are able to spend quality time with every dog in our care. Extra rubs, loves and snuggles are given at every outing. Playtime with us includes playing ball, rope tugs and good old fashion running around. So whether your dog needs to be a solo adventurer or has pals to play with they will never have a boring time! At Woof Lodge your dog will be treated like family.
About the owner
Born and raised in Tucson, Courtney has always had a love for all animals and has competed in various horse and dog competions throughout her life. Starting a boarding kennel is a true natural fit. Courtney and her husband have 2 children that love animals as well. As a family they have a green cheek conure, a rabbit, a cat, 2 shih tzus, and an American bulldog that Courtney loves to train and compete with in sport dog events, mainly Schutzhund.
“I wanted to start a boarding kennel because I know what it is like stressing over where and who is going to care for my pets. Especially my dogs, knowing that they all have varying needs on what makes them comfortable, calm and happy. Then realizing it would cost a fortune to provide the level of care I expected. I wanted to create a safe place that I would be happy to leave my pets, at a fair price. When your dog stays with us they really are treated like part of the family since that’s the whole vision that started it.”
